Adoration
Adoration is a prodigious gift. A perpetual adoration chapel even more so. A commitment to a set shift is wonderful, knowing for that hour, at least, you can set the world aside and rest in the loving presence of a wondrous miracle. The stillness and silence are profound. He is there, right there before you, and you get to marvel, to pray, to ponder, in great awe and supplication, and share this great boon with your children no less.
You carry the stillness and silence with you, back into the tumult of the world, but for now, briefly at least, it can’t touch you.
